April 12th – International Day for Street Children
The International Day for street children was internationally celebrated for the first time on April 12th 2011 by the Consortium for Street Children (GSC), one of the leading international networks for realizing the rights of street children worldwide. The campaign was marked at the National Theatre in London, where photographs of street children were exhibited, and it was celebrated by the street children, NGOs, politicians, celebrities, companies and individuals from around the world.

Chemical castration for the pedophiles in Macedonia
The continued use of medication therapy suppresses the sexual capacity of the pedophileThe pedophiles are a danger to every society, and their crimes are certainly among the most disgusting which can be done by a human being. The scars left by these half-human are permanent and indelible, and the victims will always carry the trauma of the hell which they went through, if they managed o survive.

Phantom children beg around the country
At least 370 children - beggars in Macedonia are left to fend for themselves, with parents who instead of caring for them, earn through them, and without any possibility of help because for the country - they do not exist. This shocking figure, which can be much greater, but no less, announced by the Ombudsman's office, and resulted from their research and was published for the first time by a state institution. Another bad news is that only nine of 14 centers for social care had a record of these children. In the country there are at least 1,000 children - beggars, according to this research.

Reaching out vulnerable children in Macedonia
International evidence relating to the gamut of child protection issues clearly demonstrates that vulnerable children (especially poor and/or marginalized children from ethnic minorities and/or households with limited resources) are more likely to suffer neglect, discrimination, abuse or exploitation at the hands of service providers and others. Poor and marginalized children are also more likely to be sexually exploited and abused, trafficked and/or employed in an unsafe or otherwise exploitative environment. There are some mechanisms for support of the vulnerable groups of children but they are not supported continuously by the state, they are not known to the children and children do not know where to turn when they need help and someone to talk to.

From Foster to Prosper
When you say that you are a child from a foster home, people don’t give you an opportunity to show in any job, they don’t let you go forward, because they don’t trust you, because they think that children from foster homes are criminals, they are bad, this and that.
