Shocking case of incest in Veles27.08.2010
 
Does Macedonia get its own Jozef Fricl? Having in mind what was happening in the last period in one family from Veles, its more than obvious that the father sexually abused his three juvenile daughters. The bad dream lasted long time, since one of the girls had only one year! The incest, shocked the public and caused big reactions of conviction from the organizations for child protection, its discovered now, although according to certain allegation, the abuse of the oldest child began 6 years ago.

As the police informed, the 41 years old man from Veles, which ID it not notify in the public, sexually abused his three daughters at age of three, five and seven years. From MIA does not precisely how they discover the monstrous crime, but they explain that acted upon received operational information and that the case is completely discovered and has bee documented.

This kind of serious accusations, according to the police are based on the statements given by the three girls. During the insight in the Gynecological department of the General hospital in Veles was found out that all three girls were deflowered and with traces of sexual relations and injures of the genitals. The data, which the seven years old girl was raped since at age of one year is very striking.

Except the physical traumas, the girls suffered deep psychological trauma. In cooperation with the center of social work, interviews have been conducted with the wife of the suspect person and the three juvenile children..

From the interview was found out that the father, alcoholic and abuser, used force and that in one long period of time very often has been conducting incest, and that it was happening always while the mother was absent of home. The wife, allegedly, in front of the competent institutions stated that from the very beginning of their living together, the husband physical and psychical abused her,    but she didn’t know about for his sick weakness.

From the police there is no answer how is possible the wife not to know for the behavior of the father towards the children. The husband and wife were unemployed, and the suspect has not been reported in police before for this kind of criminal acts..

The shocking news shocked not only the public in Veles but also the Macedonian public, the official statement was given by the Ministry of interior. In the statement is expressed that SIA Veles has submitted to the Public Prosecutors Office criminal charge for the father rapist. He is suspected that he committed one criminal act incest upon his three juveniles daughters and one criminal act physical injuries upon 38 years old wife. The police, also, confirmed that the interviews have been conducted with the abused children and mistreated mother in the Center for social work and that statements were provided, confirming the crimes, for which the father will be responsible.

He, very shortly after he was detained, was brought before investigative judge. According to our information, during the interview that lasted all night denied any sexual relations with the juveniles girls, and stated that the whole story, allegedly was invented from the wife and the girls.

For now it is certain that in the future the mother will take care of the children, but also the Centre for social cases.

The police statistic shows fall of number of sexual abuses, which are towards juveniles. For the first 6 months of this year, on the territory of all country were registered 421 criminal cases, 43 juveniles were sexually abused, and for the reported case were reported 48 persons. 

Regarding the perpetrators of the criminal acts, 47 are males, and one person is family. There are 33, and 15 juveniles. The oldest perpetrator is 69 years old.According to the police statistic for the same period last year is notice fall of 18 percent. In the last year were registered 50 criminal acts, but in that period there wasn’t criminal act incest.

The most often criminal act is sexual assault upon juvenile not older than 14 years old. There were 30 cases of this kind, five were regarding showing pornographic materials to a child not older of 14 years, four for raping and one for Satisfying sexual passions in front of another and Statutory rape of a helpless person.

Sexual abuse upon juveniles are most happening in the are of Negotino, Skopje, Prilep, Strumica, Kochani, Veles, Kichevo, Shtip, Bitola, Gostivar, Vinica, Radovish, Pehchevo, Kavadarci, Kriva Planka, Ohrid, Tetovo and Struga. Important to notice is that 31 of the crimes has been conducted in the area of the cities, and the rest in rural areas.

The abuse of juveniles in 31 case has bee conducted upon familiar persons from before. According to the time of conduction, the most often are those conducted in the afternoon hours or at nights.

Not very often are cases where the perpetrators used physical force or used the psychological weakness of the victims, but the there is also crimes where oral threatening has been used.

„Megjashi“ ask for most sever punishment for the father rapist.

The first child embassy “Megjashi” again calls for the most sever punishment for the father rapist from Veles upon his three daughters and ask the children not to be returned to the family, because of pressure of the closest family and relatives not to change their statements for the events.

 “Megjashi” request the children to be put in foster family and call for the most sever punishment for the father rapist. “ We call the competent institutions not to exclude the possibility for collaborator of the mother in this criminal act. If the mother knew this and approved the sexual abuse of the three girls we request deprivation of the parent’s right of the booth parents and their punishment if she didn’t report the case” is stated from “Megjashi”. The last awful case, according to them, shows that there is lack of function protection upon the children, and having in mind that we call all citizens to report the violence which they will notice on time, and centres for social protection to be present at the filed and have insight in all situations.
