Seeking after 4 missing children in only one month The disappearance of two children from Kumanovo with whom the number of children disappeared has climbed to four, confronted families and non-governmental organizations on one hand, and police on the other side.

While the police involved assure that gives the maximum in the search, the situation on the ground and the statement of the families gives a different picture. First Children’s Embassy  Megjashi today with the Minister Jankulovska messaged – we should not exclude the possibility that missing children are victims of trafficking.

Children’s Embassy Megjashi indicates that children from rural areas and from poor families are the most frequent target of the crime of trafficking children.

The families of two missing children, peers from Kumanovo settlement “Sredorek” claimed that the police do not patrol there regularly.

Here we have no police patrol. Roma people are cut off from everything, said Mersida’s uncle.

Meanwhile, police simulated scenarios of kidnapping and concluded that children are not caught up in the chain of trafficking.

Criminologists, call the investigation to include inspectors of Prevention of trafficking in human organs.

Currently searching for 8-year-old from Skopje Mitat Ibrahimi-Konjare high school,

 5 year-old Dino Memedi and Mersida Heldovikj from Kumanovo and 16 year-old Burhan Mamudovski of Kicevo. All have disappeared within a month.
