Presentation of the Alternative reports for the state of children's rights in Macedonia in front of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva on February the 3rdIn the period from the 1st  to 4th  February 2010, Delegation of the National coalition for the rights of the children represented by Keti Jandrijeska Jovanova - Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Macedonia, Catherine Koneska – The First Children's Embassy in the world Megjashi, Svetlana Mulkueen - First Children's Embassy in the word Megjashi, Vaska Bojdzi - child representative from the organization Gate from Strumica and Elena Dimitrievska - child representative from the organization Loja from Tetovo, were in Geneva, Switzerland, to present the alternative report for the children's rights in Macedonia to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Children. The alternative report was presented at the 54th pre-session in front of 9 members of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Children. The children had a separate meeting with the members of the Committee, where they were able to present their children's report.

During the 4-day stay in Geneva, the representatives of the National Coalition for the Rights of the Child had meetings with several institutions: the European regional office of UNICEF, the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the NGO Terre des Hommes and the section of the NBO Group for Juvenile Justice.
