Selection of children representatives for Geneva During the third training for children in Ohrid, it was agreed that the children will submit a letter of motivation-letter of interest for participation of children representatives in Geneva.
All letters of interest had to be submitted no later than September 10th. After the deadline, each city, represented by the city coordinator and the children participating in the project, made a selection of candidates by secret ballot, considering the criteria that were agreed by the children during the training.
We have received 7 letters of interest. Each city had a right to choose 2 candidates from the proposed 7, excluding those nominated from their city.
The largest number of votes were received by Elena Dimitrievska from Tetovo and Vaska Bojadzi from Strumica.
Officially, the children representatives of the Republic of Macedonia in Geneva, who will present the Alternative Report on the state of children's rights towards the Convention on Children’s Rights, representing the children are Elena Dimitrievska from Tetovo and Vaska Bojadzi from Strumica.
