Children’s Embassy Megjashi asks for liability for the last case of incestThe First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi asked for liability from the intermunicipal Center for Social welfare in Skopje, regarding the last case of pedophilia, where the father raped his two juvenile daughters. According to Children’s Embassy Megjashi incest wouldn’t have happened if the center hasn’t entrusted them to the S.S(34) and hasn’t allowed him to see his daughters at age of seven and eight, despite knowing that he is alcoholic and suspect of thefts.

The girls have learned and stayed in the sleeping quarters since S.S, has not lived in extramarital union with their mother(28) whom he had forced to prostitute and beg, anymore. The bully would take then children during the weekends, took them in a room in one barrack on the Bosnia and Herzegovina street, where he stated temporary, where he and his friend D.Z(28) would interchangeably sexually maltreat and abuse the children, beating them and threatening they would slay them and their mother.

-We ask Centers for Social work to be more informed and to take appropriate measures for preventing and monitoring in dysfunction families. It implies often and regular visit , direct contact with the children with psychological advise etc.The Centers for Social work should be mobile, more flexible and to follow the condition of possible abuses of children in critical families in order to act properly, say form  Megjashi Embassy.

The Fist Children’s Embassy in the World reminds the responsible persons at the state institutions,  that the state has ratified the Convention for Rights of the Child and has obliged itself to respect all rights of the Convention. Last cases of sexual abuse of the children are an example of cruelest violation of the children’s rights guaranteed by the Convention. According to Article 34 of the Convention, the states that have signed the Convention are obliged to protect the children from all forms of sexual abuse and maltreatment.

-We think that it is very important about the violence,  not to be silent about it and that is why we encourage the parents children, and the closest to report the sexual violence and abuse - say, from Embassy Megjashi.
