Assigned high recognition to The Executive Director of the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi, Mr. Dragi Zmijanac-“ Angel of the year 2008”On 28th January 2008 year, for the ninth time in the Theatre „Dal Verme” in Milano, was held the manifestation “Angel of the year” organised by the Red Cross Italy – Regional Committy of Lombardy and the Ethic center “Coin for peace”.

To the Executive Director and founder of the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi, Mr. Dragi Zmijanac, was assighed the reward “Angel of the year 2008” for his long time intensive activity in the support of the children and the accomplishment of the international projects. This reward is assigned only to respected people from the social life especially from Italy – famous artists, politicians, industrials, bankers. Invitation for this occasion the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi received during the visit of H.E. Antonio Diletto Аmbassador in Italy and Switzerland, Mr. Mauricio Pinpinella- a representative of the Italian Red Cross and the journalist Bruno Lakonti from Italy. H.E. Diletto gave 3.500,00 euros to the Children’s Embassy, which were used for the needs of SOS phone for children and youth, for the free legal service and the Daily Centre for street children. During his stay from 16th –18th December, the representative of the Red Cross visited the Daily Centre for street children and the homes of the children and conditions they live in.
